Kaaterskill Falls Engagement Session

Kaaterskill Falls is the highest cascading waterfall in New York State, dropping over 260 feet! There are several trail systems that you can take from the parking lot, but heading down to the lower falls will give you some of the most beautiful views of the waterfalls. Be prepared with a good pair of hiking boots - you’re going to hike close to a mile, down a bunch of (very steep) steps, to get the gorgeous views. The parking lot is pretty big and we didn’t have any trouble finding a spot even though this is a very popular destination!
Mary and Tom were troopers and hiked the whole way down with us AND had an outfit change. We were so glad they wanted to have an adventurous engagement session and it was even more awesome that they were willing to travel to the beautiful Hudson Valley. There are so many amazing spots and secluded areas all throughout the Kaaterskill Falls hiking area that you will never run out of beautiful scenery for your engagement session.
